Mum loves you a lot. Accept her love. You see your old self in her means you’ve improved. It only means you’ve improved. It doesn’t mean you’re right and she’s wrong. Accept other people’s love for you. They do it because they want to. They feel good doing it. It doesn’t mean anything about who you are. You’re very lucky. You have had a lot of help along the way. Trust your higher self, when the timing is right, the opportunities will present themselves. All you have to do is accept the love from others.

When others choose to struggle or repeat the same mistakes, in their world, it’s the right choice. Maybe not right in your world but in their world, it’s right, so let them be. Do not judge them. Just be there for them. Have more compassion.
